Not perfect. Pretty great.
Pretty Great Lawn Care is a lawn care service that isn’t running. Nobody is mowing under this name right now. This page is about what it would be if it starts up, and where people would want it.
The idea, in three lines
-
A lawn you’re happy with.
Green enough that you like looking at it. Nobody needs a golf course out front.
-
Honest advice.
If your lawn just needs a week of rain, we’d tell you that, even if it means skipping a visit.
-
No upsells.
You’d get what you asked for. No surprise extras on the bill.
What it would include
If Pretty Great Lawn Care starts up, this is the plan. Nothing here is on offer today.
-
Mowing
Regular mowing at a sensible height, with clean edges and stripes like the ones behind this page. Clippings would stay on the lawn unless you’d rather they didn’t.
-
Seasonal feeding
Fertilizer when your grass can actually use it, timed to the season and not to a sales calendar. Weeds would get handled the same way: only where they’re a problem.
-
Overseeding
New seed for the thin and bare patches, put down at the time of year when it has a fair chance of coming up.
-
Leaf cleanup
Getting the leaves off before they mat down on the grass. Raked, blown or mulched in, whichever suits your yard.
Not taking customers right now
Pretty Great Lawn Care has no crew, no schedule and no price list. Nobody will show up at your house, and there’s nothing to book.
What it does have is this page, so we can see whether enough people in one area would want it.
